This season Cliburn Concerts invites you to experience joy: the awe of seeing near superhuman virtuosity at the Kimbell Art Museum; a memorable evening spent with friends at Tannahill’s Music Hall; a weekend celebration at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth; blissful moments immersed in the sound of the orchestra at Bass Performance Hall. This season we encourage you to seize these moments and indulge in the joy of music.

The 2026–2027 season offers a variety of joyful performances: a celebration of America at 250 with an All-American Concerto Evening at Bass Hall featuring the Fort Worth Symphony and Robert Spano joined by soloists Amaryn Olmeda, Joshua Roman, and Angel Stanislav Wang; triumphant returns for two Cliburn medalists, Yekwon Sunwoo (2017 gold) and Evren Ozel (2025 bronze); a musical journey from Bach to Brazil with harpist Bridget Kibbey; an intimate recital by one of the greatest pianists of our time, Daniil Trifonov; a night of cabaret with soprano Mikaela Bennett; Cliburn Concerts debuts by rising stars Sterling Elliott and Stella Chen; an enchanting performance of French songs by 2026 GRAMMY® winning mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges; a dazzling night of duo piano from 2022 Cliburn Silver Medalist Anna Geniushene and her husband Lukas Geniušas (laureate of both the International Tchaikovsky and Chopin Competitions); and a chance to start the year with good fortune in a celebration of Lunar New Year at the 2027 Cliburn Festival.

For a more relaxed atmosphere, Cliburn Sessions offers a three-concert subscription at Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall, blending classical music with cabaret, crossover, and intimate performances.

Special events include a standalone recital by Daniil Trifonov, and the 2027 Cliburn Festival, a five-concert Lunar New Year celebration available as a separate subscription.

All-American Concerto Evening

Daniil Trifonov’s ascent to classical music stardom is something to behold. In the years since he won First Prize and Grand Prix at the 2011 International Tchaikovsky Competition, he has accrued more accolades than any other pianist of his generation, from a GRAMMY® win to countless “artist of the year” designations and being made a “Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” by the French government. As The Times of London notes, he is “without question the most astounding pianist of our age.”

As Daniil makes his way from Carnegie Hall in New York to Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles, he stops in Fort Worth for this one-night special engagement. He’ll perform Handel’s spirited dance Suite No. 5 followed by a love letter to Latin America (inspired by his Dominican wife) with pieces by Villa-Lobos, Landestoy, Ginastera, and a Tango of his own composition.
