PRODUCTION DETAILS

Performance run times vary based on the individual production. Most Broadway at the Bass performances are between 2-2.5 hours in length, while most Popular Entertainment shows are 1.5-2 hours in length. For an exact run time for a particular show, please call the Box Office at 817-212-4280.

The Box Office and lobby open 60 minutes prior to a show's scheduled performance time. Seating begins 30 minutes prior. We recommend arriving early and traveling light.

While some theatergoers do dress up, you are welcome to wear what makes you most comfortable. Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.  Keep in mind that our theater is kept cool year-round.

Coming to a show in costume or cosplay? Be sure to read our official costume guidelines before coming to the Hall. For the safety and consideration of all patrons, Performing Arts Fort Worth reserves the right to determine whether costumes and thematic attire are acceptable and appropriate and may ask the wearer to make modifications as necessary.

Costumes may be worn according to these guidelines:

  • Full face costume masks, obstructive headgear and helmets of any kind, with the exception of cranial helmets for medical needs, may not be worn.
  • Costumes may not impede or block the view of others.
  • Costumes may not contain any props or accessories, including toy or replica weapons of any kind (swords, guns, handcuffs, etc.), that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Any part of a costume or thematic attire that is considered a prohibited item will not be allowed into any Performing Arts Fort Worth facility.

The age appropriateness varies by production. We advise patrons to use discretion when considering bringing children to performances. For specific show information, call our Box Office at 817-212-4280.

Bass Performance Hall opens one hour before performance time. Seating begins 30 minutes before performance time. As a general guide, for a 7:30pm performance, the box office and lobbies will open at 6:30pm and seating will begin at 7:00pm.

Most performances require a late seating hold during which seating is not permitted until the first appropriate break in the performance. The “first appropriate break” is set by the production company and often means 5-10 minutes after the start of the performance. Monitors are located in the lobby for late arrivals. Patrons should visit the restrooms before the performance begins and/or at intermission. In the event you must leave your seat, you will not be re-seated until the next appropriate break in the performance.

In the unlikely event of a cancelled performance, Patron Services will communicate all available options by email or phone.

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event that you cannot attend a performance you may:

  • Call the Box Office to exchange into another performance of the same show, if available.
